   To beat the game on legendary a few tips would be to always always always take cover,be patient,let the arbiter to most of the work

   No cheating. no skulls…. that's weak. All I can say is train. maybe play it on multiplayer on legendary for a bit, then when you get used to it, go back to single player and see how it goes. Good luck.

   Splatter King

   Useing Gold skulls will only make it harder unless if it's the one the promote's covenet. I know that you think then well isn't that going to make it harder? Well normaly Yes but if your only fighting flood and happen to have Elite Allies that will only make your partners stronger.

   Now also try the Campaign on Xbox Live and get some friends to join. That's how I did it. But if you don't just try getting someone to help in Co-op. If you have no one that will help still activate that second controller and the character as a respawn point unless if need the arbiter covering your back.

   But if you only have one controller and no Xbox Libe just try useing certain stradegies to kill the enemys such as…
   1. Sticking with grenade's
   2. Use Items and Cover to Advantage
   3. Head Shot's
   etc…

   Co-op with other people would be your best bet. Otherwise, the only thing I can recommend is patience and persistence. Oh, and skulls in Halo 3 actually make the game harder (the majority of them at least) so I wouldn't recommend activating them, unless you're doing Campaign scoring.
