Halo 3 Cheating? I fixed 80% of the issue…?

Well, I bought my 360 a couple of weeks ago. Of course, I bought Halo 3 with it. I soon realized how bad halo 3 online sucks. Cheaters everywhere, I contacted Bungie. I have video upon video of people running into a wall and wiping my whole team at the same time. Yet, they do nothing. What's the point in the video if no one believes the video that you have. My question is, why must people ruin a fun game with their BS. It completely ruined the fun for me. I did some research on how they cheat and came up with a solution I'd say fixes ohh 80% of the problem. By bridging with your party member and a mixture of a firewall. You can assure that your team mate will always be host. This prevented anyone else from being host and therefore cheating using bridging and/or Standbying. How can it be so hard to prevent cheating on the 360? Couldn't they use a checksum system of some sort? Microsoft can supposedly detect hardware changes yet so many mods are still in use. Why can't this be dealt with

It's not just on Halo 3. It's been an occurrence for a long time, even happens on Call of Duty 4 now. Happened on Gears of War. Sadly when people are bored they will find a glitch. The host thing usually helps, but isn't surefire either. The only thing you can do is continue to mark them as cheaters and report them. Believe it or not that does work. Just takes more than one person doing it. ALSO when you report don't do it over and over and over, that makes them think you just don't like the player and they won't take it serious. Just mark them once and be done with it. Wish ya luck.

There is no cheating, yes there may be lag - but set your search to "best-connection" instead of "quickest". There is no way to tell if someone is the host on Halo 3, don't assume because they kill you with the shotgun in one shot, or they can Battle-Rifle you in four shots means they are cheating.

If you believe someone is cheating, save the video, contact bungie. Post it on the bungie.net forums, and if they are cheating, their name will be out there.

Well people do cheat i know this for a fact as my friends do it and have taught me how but i don't do it because it's a waste of time.

It happens daily and is so annoying!. Microsoft sucks they don't care at all they only care if you tamper with their hardware.. i don't understand their logic
